CASE HISTORY

Katherine Zhang, a 47 year old woman, was hurrying for a bus when she experienced a sudden violent headache and collapsed.

She was assisted by a bystander, who noted that she was conscious but confused and in pain.

An ambulance was called and she was taken to hospital.

En route to hospital she vomited several times.
